Fall/Winter - 2011/1012 - Walking through the Jungle ....What Can You See ??

It’s official, fashion has gone primitive – with snakeskin, crocodile, leopard prints and many more flaunting themselves all over the catwalk, the jungle theme is a sure winner one this winter. Wear head-to-toe print for a truly reptile look or mix up different patterns for a dare-to-clash kind of look. This trend also combines nicely with the fur trend this season, leopard furry coat anyone ?

The nice thing about animal prints is that they can be used to create a a loud flamboyant outfit (e.g. head to toe leopard) or a classic touch (e.g. snakeskin leather bag). My personal fave is the snakeskin python pattern, I find it both smart and sexy at the same time. Of course real fur, real snakeskin is very expensive and might not even suit some people’s tastes, however as always there are lots of ‘imitations’ to be found. However do be sure to still buy good quality items, especially where bags and shoes are concerned, cheap plasticy snakeskin shoes will never look chic.
