Creating lists is fun and I seem to be on a role so why stop ?
Here are my top ten best buys/ present acquisitions from the year almost gone by :
1. My Miu Miu Bag – red fur, beautiful calf leather and a crystal chain strap….I fell in love with it from the moment I saw it in Venice and I envision a long and fruitful relationship.
2. My Leather Satchel – yep I finally got one for Christmas, from my darling hubby and its absolutely perfect – blog post and full details coming soon, I promise.
3. My DKNY dress – I love the fit of this dress and the huge bow on the back.
4. My tweed jacket – another recent pressie from the hubby (anniversary this time), it’s really cool and original with quilted sleeves and raw edges, this post will be up start of 2013 I promise (photos already in hand).
5. A Mother-of-Pearl cross body bag – this was a present from my mum which she brought back from a trip to America, its made entirely from mother of pearl shell fragments and is really exquisite.
6. My Handmade Metal Statement Necklace – bought from Spitalfields Market London, super original… follow the link and scroll to the bottom to see a pic of me wearing it.
7. My Ecco Boots – made from lovely nubuck leather, nice looking and the most comfortable pair of shoes my feet have ever worn – awesome.
8. My Furla Bag – a black nubuck leather shopper that I’ve used nearly every day for work this past year, fits everything and still looks lovely, similar to this Bag Example but longer and thinner.
9. My Carpisa Luggage and Travelling Bag – presents from the in-laws, they are a lovely shade of purple and have been transformed into my styling bags, used to transport clothes and all other required items to and from shoots – very practical.
10. My Michael Kors Tops – ok I’m cheating but this is actually three things, one was (yes another) present from my mum in a great shade of orange that fits really well :D, the other is a blue silk top I bought myself and the other is a long white waffle cardigan with gold buckles that is realyl comfy and looks really stylish.
Phew….narrowing that down and remembering all the stuff I’ve bought this year was actually much more difficult than I thought but there you have it…my top ten (ok maybe 13) items.
Making this list has made me realise that I don’t blog about my stuff enough…..and infact I couldn’t find photos of a lot of things:( I’ve decided that this should be one of my blogging resolutions for the year of 2013……so hopefully every item on next year’s list should have a pic 😀
