Styling Work : Venere Christmas (Grinch) PhotoShoot

Continued from last week’s episode, last night, Venere brought us Part 2 of the Grinch photo shoot – my role was to style the eight girls in different trendy, colourful outfits who would be role playing as the Whos of Whoville.

Selecting outfits for eight different girls was no easy  feat, especially since I hadn’t actually met all eight of them prior to the shoot. The main request of this shoot was for the girls to be mega colourful and look happy. I decided to loan clothes from Tally Weijl as they have many colourful and  sweet pieces, I then took into account their different body shapes and skin tone colouring and selected different outfits accordingly. I also raided my own closet for jewellery gloves, socks and some other accessories.
Check out the results below:
Grinch : Gordon Bonello
The Whos: Free spirit acting group
Photographer : Clint Scerri Harkins
Makeup : Mateja Camilleri
Hair : Chris Mifsud
Styling : Caroline Paris
Clothes : Tally Weijl and Stylist’s Own
Co-ordination – Adrian J Mizzi
Shoot for Venere produced by motion blur and Unique Promotions

For Yanika I chose white to create a contrast with her dark hair and eyes and I also chose a long tunic like cardigan to make the most of her curvy figure.

For  Charlene I chose darker colder colours to match her skin tone and hair colour.

For Graziana I chose purple and pink to bring out the colour in her eyes and again I chose something figure hugging to make the most out of her figure.

The ear muffs and contracting colours made the most out of Mandy’s features, face shape and porcelain complexion.

Since Jessica is tall and thin, skinny jeans look great on her; the dark pink also works very well with her dark complexion.

Emily’s waif figure and unearthly fair complexion and features look lovely in this colourful outfit mixed with some fur.

For Louisa I selected a short tight skirt to make the most of her lean legs, I also chose a lot of different colours which her fair complexion can easily take.

Unfortunately Amanda’s outfit cannot be seen properly but she was wearing with pink and again these colours do look great when paired with fair skin and blonde hair.
