Trends Post – How to Charm the Python Snake

Although animal and reptile prints have been in trend for a while now, this spring and summer there is a big focus on the Python print. Last September, during the Spring/Summer shows, the catwalks were awash with offerings; worn head-to-toe or mixed with other patterns, this print should be one of your summer investments. The print is a popular one both for accessories and clothes.

Some of you might find this print a bit overwhelming and you might not be sure how exactly to style it, so I’ve styled an outfit to show you how I would do it.
Unless it’s a dress, I prefer not to wear this print head-to-toe and instead combine it with bright and basic neutrals.

For this outfit, I’ve taken a white pair of skinny python print jeans and combined them with a bright orange body suit shirt (worn inside the jeans) neutral high heels. a white bag and some gold jewellery.
I’ve also added a brown tunic, I did this for two reasons, 1) warmth 2) pear shaped women may desire/ need to add some width to their waist and hide part of their bum making the discrepancy between their waist and hips less marked. Unfortunately printed trousers will draw more attention to the legs, the tunic will lessen this somewhat. Summary  this tunic could be left out if the weather is warm enough for just the shirt and no boy issues require it.
