Lately, it seems as though punk fashion is everywhere..It started with the theme for this year’s Met Ball being punk and baroque and Sarah Jessica Praker wearing that Philip Treacy mohawk hat. Then at Malta Fashion Week I spotted Ritenne’s amazing punk and baroque design fusion, after which I worked on a fashion editorial with her. Then of course there’s always Karl Lagerfield himself and his Chanel catwalk shows, to remind us how cool punk styling elements can be.
So this week’s edition to the SPOTTED roundup is PUNK.
Unless you’re actually completely sold on the punk image, and want to erm well, look like a punk..the ideal is to only inject one or two punk items into an outfit for e.g. these sunglasses below or those amazing nails..those could be combined with a more sombre, plainer outfit.
That plaid skirt above is an absolute winner imo and I can just see that being worn with a black blazer..a ruffled collar, white shirt and black high Mary-Jane heels..so Chanel.
