Hot on the heels of her
beautiful fashion show, yesterday I was invited to a private reception and viewing of Pippa’s Toledo new collection at her gallery, a chance to get up close and personal with all the intricate designs.
It was a lovely event, delicious food catered by Zest and free flowing wine and some really interesting people to meet.
As stunning as I declared the items to be when I viewed them from the catwalk, up close they are even more amazing, the detail on each piece of jewellery, the exquisite craftsmanship of the beautiful crochet, the simple cleverness of all the bag designs and the superb quality fabric of all the clothing pieces is really something else.
For this post, rather than just talk about the collection which I’ve already done, I decided to go for a more original take and I asked a bunch of people present at the event to choose their favourite thing in the gallery.

| Pippa’s daughter Ninia loves her mother’s bags and is over the moon that she has now introduced a cross body strap in some of the designs – she chose this bag which has such an interesting mix of different colours. |

| Of course I couldn’t resist asking Pippa herself – she chose this necklace, it really is a work of art! |

| Yvonne Desira Buttigieg loved this grandiose necklace and it’s intricate mix of crochet and different coloured gems. |

| And last but not least – MINE!- a bag of course and in pink…also with the cross body strap- beautiful! |
Unable to resist owning a piece of this beautiful art, I did go home with something from the collection but I ain’t saying what…you’ll just have to wait for an outfit post!!
