Outfit Post : A Scarf from London and a Bag of course

You may or may not be familiar with Fabryan, a luxury womenswear & accessories brand. She exhibited her collection at Malta Fashion Week last May. What had impressed me about her clothes was her love and use of colour, I love colour and I love the combination of different bright colours and patterns; not much of a sombre dresser. I was recently in contact with her and she sent over a silk scarf from her latest collection.
Because I buy a lot of stuff online, when the standard brown envelope arrived, I wasn’t sure what it was but I was v pleased to see this lovely box. Whilst I have been known to complain about how lovely packaging always incurs a price hike, when receiving a gift, beautiful packaging does add a lot of pleasure. The box this scarf was packaged in, although plain, screams high- end luxury and quality.
Eager to explore, I opened the box and voilà, out came this beautiful, bright, multi coloured creation made of lovely silk with an exquisitely rolled hem. It  has a camouflage pattern of sorts which is perfectly in trend for this season. Because the weather kept being gloomy and rainy, I kept waiting to shoot this because I wanted to shoot it outdoors, however, I eventually gave up and decided to go for an ‘indoor..ohh looking at the rain out of the window photo kind-of-thing“.
I wore it to the opening of a new hair salon The Strand in Gzira by Annalise Azzopardi, a very talented hairdresser who I’ve sometimes worked with on photoshoots. I wore it over a long waffle cardigan by Michael Kors that I bought last year and am still very much in love with, black with gold leggings and knee high boots that I forgot to take a picture of – sorry!
I also added a Coccinelle bag of course (if you’re wondering why the ‘of course’ then read this). Love this model, roomy enough to fit tons of stuff but still retains its shape and structure and looks very elegant… the python pattern which seems to be made out of cracked leather is really lovely. As is the norm with Coccinelle, the quality of the leather and the gold hardware is excellent.
I’m also still really loving my hair colour and I have no also had the Keratin treatment applied
to my hair at Toni and Guy Hilton Malta, to make it more manageable throughout the cold Winter Months, in these photos it was blow dried straight – I’m very curious to see what it will be like when I wash it and leave it dry – more on that to follow.
