I recently worked on a shoot with a bit of a darker conceptual mood. The idea and feeling behind it was that of a runaway teen, a defiant teen who in spite of all her defiance feels lost and haunted. I chose to use all-black styling with some silver hardware jewellery accents. All-black is a major trend this Winter but the main reason I chose it is simply because I felt it captured the essence of what we were after perfectly. The dark eyes complement the styling and bring’s out the model’s big eyes helping to assert that haunted feeling. The hairstyles used are both somewhat grungy – runaway vibes.
