I’ve been making plans to visit Paranga on a Sunday for over a month now, every weekend something crops up and my plans get thwarted. Events by Martin organise a Sunday social club which as with all their events, generally means great music, lovely cocktails and a good crowd). I finally got there. The sun was out, the mood was perfect and after having just finished shooting an editorial for Sunday Circle we were totally in the mood to chill.
I wore my new dress from Pedro del Hierro – stripes! – one of my current fave trends! and it’s an a-line dress, another love of mine. I paired it with bright pink boots and a bright pink backpack, after all this kind of weather calls for colour right? I fall more and more in love with this brand every time I visit the store, my only wish is that they start getting an even larger selection of dresses, they fit me so well it’s almost like they were tailored to my measurements.
This was actually my first time trying an appletini cocktail, I’ve read about them but never actually tried one- funnily enough, even though I hate sweet food and don’t really go for overly sweet desserts, I really like sweet drinks – go figure.
I decided to focus my entire meal on seafood, I hadn’t had seafood in a while and I had a craving for shellfish. My pasta was a mix of nero di sepia pasta with clams, mussels, squid and fish whilst my platter had prawns, more squid, langoustines and some fish too.
Desert was a white chocolate souffle that was cooked to perfection – soemthing that is actually rarely the case in most restaurants.
Food – glorious food
