You know those places where you can be equally comfortable in a little black dress and jeans? Those places that ooze style but without an ounce of stuffy formality – that’s MIRO.
MIRO is situated is situated in Triq Paceville, Paceville, parking is available in the adjacent carpark – FREE for all patrons.
2. The Menu
The Menu at MIRO is varied and interesting, different meat options, vegetarian options, truffle croquettes, veal steaks, pork cheek ravioli, meagre cooked al sale,strawberry infused fillet medallions & the chef’s beef tartare with grated cured egg yolk & an apparently top secret mix – so much to choose from!! And to top it off if you’re vegetarian 30% of the menu is for you!
3. The Meat Boards
As part of our meal, we chose a lamb tagliata and an Angus steak. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection and I added a truffle sauce that shocked my taste buds, mouthful after mouthful. The lamb tagliata was not only a truly original dish but also equally wonderful. The Josper charcoal oven ensures that optimum results are always reached for the vari cooking cuts of meat.
4. Deserts with A View
If you’re wondering what view I’m on about, then take a look at these photos – whiskey ice cream served in a display case, a decadent brownie served with a homemade ice cream nut concoction on top… presentation is as mouthwatering as the deserts themselves.
5. Cocktails
I normally always drink red wine when I go out to dinner but the initial cocktail had me hooked and we both just kept ordering cocktails all night, they’re creative and extremely tasty, my favourite is one that goes by the name of fairytale.
